“Take what you want, bring what you can”

WFI is very excited about an event we are planning for the community in the early fall: WF’s first ever “Really Free Market” event!  A free market is one we share our abundance with the community. In addition to the folks bringing free items to give away (such as books, food, furniture, records, clothes, seeds, and more), many folks provide a free skill (free haircuts, bike repair, sewing) or offering to the community. Nothing is sold.

Voter education and voter registration will be a part of our event. Additionally,  we look forward to sharing info with the community about our new referral services to free or low cost medical clinics in Durham for those in our community lacking health insurance.
