Mutual Aid

Wake Forest Indivisible contributes to the well-being of marginalized people in our area, including not only Wake Forest residents, but also those nearby.

We will continue to assist with food, clothing, or other needs. If you are in a position to help, please contact us at WakeForestIndivisible@gmail.com or 919-426-2763.

Whether you need items for your family, or want to share the abundance that you have with others, this page has links to organizations that can help.

WF Indivisible Projects

Our Indivisible group, partnering with various charitable organizations, is privileged to spotlight and support specific families, individuals, and groups, focusing on their immediate and ongoing needs to maintain safe living spaces, fight food insecurity, and provide additional goods and services to help them reach goals for financial security and show them they are treasured members of our community.

Success!

Thanks to your generosity last week, we were able to assist a family in need in avoiding eviction. We partnered with Triangle Mutual Aid in that effort. We also helped two families to be able to afford the back to school clothing, shoes and other supplies they needed for their 6 school-aged children.

  • Donations this week: Size 5 & 6 diapers and wipes

  • Items can be dropped off on the porch at 9908 Calvados Dr, Wake Forest

Good News!

The mutual aid team has now established partnerships with three free or low-cost clinics: Samaritan Health Clinic, NeighborHealth, and Local Start Dental. All are located in Durham and accept our letters of referral for individuals in need of medical care, regardless of immigration status. We continue to try to expand our partnerships and are currently setting up an encrypted bilingual intake/referral request form which we plan to post on our mutual aid page on our website. It is our goal to help those without health insurance be seen at those clinics.
